| • Lusaka, Zambia – With assistance from SCF, the Fountain of Hope Lusaka Center Clinic, a medical clinic and drop-in center was built. This facility feeds and treats approximately 1,000-orphaned HIV/AIDS children on a daily basis. This project significantly improves the quality of life and reduces the suffering of children in this area. In Zambia, approximately 16% of the population are orphans. The average life expectancy has dropped to the mid thirties because of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. |
